Samantha is an active U.S. Navy member with more than 12 years combined active duty and reservist time serving her country. She has two children and is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her past accomplishments include volunteering for AWARE Central Texas, teaching undergraduate psychology classes for Central Texas College, Lone Star College, and San Jacinto College and working as a Behavior Therapist for both children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Her hobbies include writing, research, and running in her free time. Her ultimate goal is to provide therapeutic services for both veterans and active military members and their families.
Kaylynn Beckham, SPHR, is an accomplished strategic business partner of both privately held and publicly traded companies. With nearly a decade’s worth of HR experience, she has developed expertise in operational excellence, project management, change management, as well as identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risk. After completing her undergraduate studies, she has been certified a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Coming from a family of veterans, Kaylynn’s objective is to find a way to make a meaningful impact by giving back to the community. She is dedicated to fulfilling the mission and values of Amazing Soldiers, Inc. Kaylynn and her husband currently reside in Houston, Texas with their dog and cat.
Brandee is married to an Army veteran and is from a family of veterans. She has worked with languages for 20 years, both professionally and through her volunteer work. She taught college and high school Spanish and English for almost 11 years and has been a professional bilingual proofreader/editor for over 9 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English and a master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Her previous volunteer work includes visiting veterans through a hospice volunteer program. She also loves animals and has volunteered with animal charities.
Tochie Ezento is an engineer and a licensed professional project manager. He attained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineer and a master’s degree in engineering management. Tochie completed an executive program in general management from the University of Texas Austin. He also, completed a senior officer leadership and management program with the United States Coast Guard. During the course of his career, he has held several leadership and management positions in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, energy sector and oil & gas industry. He is currently a project and risk management consultant at Southern Company, one the largest power generating and utilities company in the nation. Mr. Ezento has a great passion for mentoring, community service and volunteering. He currently serves in many nonprofit organizations such as junior achievement; Engineers without Boarders USA and he is the current Vice president of public relations for international toastmasters. He also, served as a national staff officer for strategic and management planning board with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and the immediate past district public affair officer for the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Tochie’s main objective is to give back to the community. His area of special interest is in helping our military veterans stabilize and the underserved areas of the society. Tochie has a lovely wife and three children, his hobbies are reading, tennis, swimming, traveling, volunteering and learning.
