Working in the medical field for over 22 years, Chandra has applied her skills in nursing homes, group homes, and hospital settings. She has Associate Applied Science degrees in both Mental Health and Health Care Administration (HCA) and has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration in August 2015 from the University Of Phoenix. She’s also an active member of the Katy Area Chamber Of Commerce along with being a Texas Notary& Loan signing agent. “I know everyone handles trauma in different ways but one thing all the veterans I’ve met have in common is that they say they don’t get the help they need and they feel forgotten. Amazing Soldiers is about helping them fight the fight. We want them back in society and productive members again. Adjustment to civilian life can be extremely difficult and I want to do what I can to help them feel wanted and needed.” I enjoy helping those who are slipping through the cracks in social welfare programs and often create programs and initiatives to help under-served populations and communities. I look forward to ensuring the veterans and disabled adults in the Katy/Houston area who are in need of crucial services and help know right where to find it!”
