Chandra Williams 

Chair

Working in the medical field for over 22 years, Chandra has applied her skills in nursing homes, group homes, and hospital settings.


She has Associate Applied Science degrees in both Mental Health and Health Care Administration (HCA) and has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration in August, 2015 from the University Of Phoenix. She's also a active member of Katy Area Chamber Of Commerce along with being a Texas Notary.



Samantha Loeza 

Vice Chair


Samantha comes from a long line of military members. She spent all of her childhood as an Air Force brat and lived in many parts of the United States. She joined the U.S Navy then transitioned into the reserves where she continues her service as an enlisted member. She has dedicated over 12 years in the Navy and plans to retire. Her educational background includes a BA in Psychology Candidate. Her goal is to utilize her degree to assist military members, Veterans and their families. Samantha is a California Native but calls Houston, TX home with her two children. She is avid historical places, movies and facts.

Heather Poole

Secretary

Heather is a United States Veteran. She served on active duty in the Army as a Combat Medic for four years. She completed one tour of duty in Afghanistan where she worked with NATO to secure properly trained Afghan National Army Combat Medics. She also convoyed and did missions outside of the wire. After leaving the military, Heather obtained her nursing license in 2014 and is still a licensed nurse. She does volunteer health classes and health fairs. After nursing school, should found her true passion in non-profit work. She is currently working with four non-profits in Houston to help bridge the gap between the LGBTQ community and the Veteran community. She feels that both identities on there own are strong, but if one person could learn to claim both together they would be invincible. She is in her last semester at UofH for her Bachelor's of Arts in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She intends to immediately attend the Master's of Social Work program at UofH in the Fall of 2018. She has lived in Houston all of her life except for the few years she was in the military. She loves being involved in the community, music, cooking, and animals

Samuelson Drumond 

Treasurer

Samuelson, is Business building and development professional with 23 years of experience in the financial services industry in multiple countries proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Proven expertise increasing customer base, revues and profitability in different lines of business. Recognized by peers and clients for developing executing and maintaining excellent client relationships, associated with successful delivery of services and growth opportunities.
